We can’t do church without our adults taking leadership in various ministries that help make things happen. We have various Study Groups that meet during Sunday School hour as well as during the week and Monthly. You can join the weekly Pastor’s Bible Study that meets following the morning worship hour on Sundays or our Keenagers group that meets during the same time.
We have a small group that meets on Thursday nights that is geared to encouraging a more in-depth, personal growth in our Christian walk with an emphasis on outreach to the world arounds. It is called the Open Door Bible study.
We also have a Woman’s Ministry group called “Women of Grace” that meets on the second Thursday of each month.
We also cook and serve a hot meal for the community once a month on the first Saturday of the Month. We have continued doing this throughout the current Covid-19 situation, though we have changed it from a face to face sit down meal to a drive through take out meal given out to anyone who comes out, no questions asked. Various family groups within our church volunteer and help out with this outreach, making up the menu, buying, cooking and serving the food. It is always good, home cooking.
We encourage our adults to get plugged into making the church work. Our adult volunteers help with AWANA, youth ministry, leading worship, helping with sound and video production as well as helping keep our grounds maintained and our buildings cleaned and sanitized. We are family and we work and grow together as we strive to serve the Lord, our church and community in body, soul and spirit.
